1504122_10152119784094293_402614229_nJanuary 5, 2014 – The Battle 4 The Ages held their invite-only tournament this past Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at the Oasis Community Worship Center in Bedford, TX. An invite-only tournament for kids and teens, Battle 4 The Ages came about with the goal of crowning the very best competitor in each age group from 8 to 17 years old. We went over some of goals for the event with organizer Ryan Kovach in this pre-event interview  but essentially what the group wanted to do was bring in the best kids and teens they could find and have them compete in the age-centric gi tournament, irrespective of weight classes. With that in mind, they were able to bring in some of the top competitors from around the region and in some cases way beyond to compete this past Saturday.

“There is no question that the invites went out across the globe to find the best BJJ talent in the world,” said Battle 4 the Ages organizers on their Facebook Page immediately follow the event. “There is no question that each bracket had that talent in it. There is no question that the kids who won, are the best of the best. We are so grateful to have had the chance to witness such skill and cannot wait to see who steps up to challenges these warriors at the next BFA. Fireworks!”
