TRUTH
brings you a strong, lightweight, and durable gold weave gi, made by a factory
already supplying several bigger brands, at a hype-battling competitive price. This gi
offers you a perfect real-world compromise of top features, the durability
needed for regular training, light weight for mobility and comfort particularly
in hotter climates, and the versatility to handle both training and
competition.

100% cotton construction, pre-shrunk,
mercerized and sanforized for uniform color and shrinkage control. As with all
cotton products there is no such
thing as a totally “pre-shrunk and it’ll never shrink
again” product no matter what your favorite kimono maker claims, however this gi shrinks very
little – it will not exhibit the level of shrinkage some
gis using non-sanforized cotton show after a couple of hot dryer cycles. This gi
shrinks the identical amount as those claiming to be "100%
pre-shrunk".

550g construction on
the top bridges the gap between low-durability ultralights and medium/heavy gold
weaves. This is not as light a material as used on some of the lightest
on the market, but it will outlast them particularly under heavy
use.

Thick and strong lapel/collar. Standard
construction. I chose not to use EVA or rubber - while this can reduce weight
and speed drying, it decreases durability and lapel life. What the other guys
dont like to tell you: Like all rubber/foam, the material used in "rubber"
lapels unavoidably breaks down over time, faster than a quality lapel of
standard construction, particularly if you use the dryer due to the heat. Cycles of heating/cooling
and foam/rubber materials do not mix well in terms of product life. I
believe people get more value out of a product that lasts
longer.

Seam patches,
piping, and reinforcements at all stress points on the top, such as skirt split
and armpit.

Taped/reinforced cuffs on sleeves and bottom of pant
legs

12 oz.
cotton pants, with 2/3-length full-width reinforcement on the front of the legs
that goes all the way from mid-thigh to the bottom of the leg. No cheap, thin
pants with just a reinforcement patch around the knees.

Thick cord drawstring on the pants – no irritating, difficult, and cheap cotton
strip drawstrings that bind easily especially when wet/sweaty. (Note: on Solid White gi's, the drawstring is a white color and not black as in the photo)

with all TRUTH products, we don’t cover you with logos and patches and use you
as an unpaid billboard to advertise on – minimal logos and branding allows you
maximum room to add your own logos, embroidery, and team / school

Sizing runs fairly true
to the sizes below and there is very little shrinkage. DO NOT order a size up thinking that
it is going to shrink a lot. If you are near the top edge of the body dimensions
for a size range, you are better off getting that size, rather than going one
size up thinking it is going to shrink enough to accommodate
you.
