HOUSTON, TX, October 21, 2012 – Immortal Kombat Fighting (IMKF) held the first part of their $30,000 “Tournament of Immortality” last night at the Edge Sports Complex in Spring, TX. The tournament features the welterweight and light heavyweight divisions with $15,000 going to the eventual winner in each class.
IMKF 4 featured 8 bouts of action with fights looking to advance ahead towards the big payoff. The event also featured a piece of history in the main event as well with Artenas “Machine Gun” Young scoring a 4-second knockout that is the fastest ever in IMKF history and also one of the fastest in the entire history of all of MMA.
Aside from MGY’s victory, there were several other fighters on the evening also scoring quick and decisive wins to push their careers along.
