Order prints, downloads, and see complete gallery at http://www.mikecalimbas.com/MMA/LFC28.The main event bout between Legacy FC’s “Angel of Death” Damacio Page and RFA’s Alexandre Pantoja is interesting. At 32 years old, Damacio already has 10 years of experience behind him. He’s won 3 out of his last 4 and is still as exciting as ever, always looking for the finish. Meanwhile the 25 year old Brazilian out of the Nova Uniao camp is just entering into the prime of his career and last loss was at the hands of current UFC flyweight contender Jussier da Silva almost five years ago. Both these guys are well-rounded, aggressive and hungry for the win. Look for this to be anybody’s ballgame but one thing for certain is that it should be a fan-friendly bout.

Moving on to the RFA 135 title fight, what we see is a battle of prospects as champion Luke Sanders puts both his belt and undefeated record on the line against Terrion Ware. Sanders has been a hard hitter throughout his entire career, and he’s got stopping power. Despite that, “Flash” Ware believes he is the more explosive fighter and it’s his time tos shine as the RFA bantamweight champion. That remains to be seen as Sanders should enter this fight as the prohibitive favorite but it might be closer than it seems.

uwf-3-laredo-407-of-914Last but not least, Houston’s Mike “The Greek” Bronzoulis travels to Tunica for his shot at the Legacy FC lightweight title. Already a former champion for the promotion at 170, Mike will be taking on Arkansas native David Burrow for his shot at a second belt. Most Legacy fight fans will remember David Burrow for his impossible come-from-behind win over UFC vet Anthony Njokuani. David was getting beat handedly in that fight but showed grit in pulling out the third round armbar. Meanhile Bronzoulis has shown a resurgent quality of his own in winning his last 2 bouts since dropping down to 155. As long as his sub defense is strong Bronzoulis should be able to dictate the pace in this one and wear down his opponent for the victory. As mentioned before though, Burrow has proven his durability so this should be an intriguing war or wills.
