Hi everyone, Ive been trying to figure out how to put a decent chat client on the site for a while but never had much success. I have found something that should work though, although its a bit different. It works more like an instant messenger. Heres the basic way how to use it:

1. Start the messenger – either click on the link in the Members menu on the right side of the home page of the site, or click on the Chat & Messenger link in the Site Menu on the left side.

2. Once this is up, go back to the home page and look at the Whos Online list – your icon will be in GREEN to note that you have the messenger running and can chat. If you see anyone else whose icon is green, you can click on that green icon to send them a request to chat. If their icon is RED that means that they do not have the messenger running and thus cant be chatted with – however if you click on that red icon you can still send them a Private Message just like before.

3. While in conversation you can also invite others who are online into your conversation, look for the \\\”invite\\\” link at the upper left of your conversation window.

Try it out and see how it works for you, let me know about any problems. Enjoy.

-Paul
