SCC returns to Galveston on Friday, Nov 9th; Profiling heavyweight title contender Jeremy Hardy
GALVESTON, TX, October 29, 2012 – The Superior Combative Championships returns to San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center in just a few weeks on Friday, November 9th.
Led by an management group including Al Garza of Premier Martial Arts, Stephen Lawhorn, and several other bay area, Superior Combative Championships (SCC) debuted this past July with their first amateur MMA event at the same location which was well-received by the crowd in attendance.
The show hopes to bridge the gap between mixed martial arts and the community at-large in the area by hosting events geared towards a positive atmosphere.
Returning for their second show this time around, SCC 2 will also serve as a military tribute to the armed forces, dubbed Operation: Island Takeover with a portion of the proceeds going towards the US Armed Forces.
We’ll have the full card shortly but the main event will feature the inaugural heavyweight title fight for the organization when 4OZ Fight Club and Zion MMA’s Tim Buchanan takes on Jeremy Hardy.
We’ll have our interview with Buchanan up shortly but make sure to check out this awesome profile video TXMMA contributor Diego Reyes recently put together on his opponent, also dubbed “The Nightmare,” Jeremy Hardy.
