Dez Hill wins fourth straight in XKO 29 main event; complete results from 2/27

DALLAS, TX – The Xtreme Knockout promotion held their latest event this past February 27th with XKO 29 happening at Gas Monkey Live. Headlining the card this time was Odessa’s Desmond (Dez) Hill. Always a tough fighter to be reckoned with, the 33 year old last made an appearance at XKO 28, where he spoiled the pro debut of highly touted prospect Camron Couch. He would face 41 year old joruneyman Dennis Mitchell this time around, winning by third round TKOt o extend his professional record to 8-2. With four straight wins now, it’s curious to see what happens next with the West Texan next but it looks like he’s primed for a title opportunity or a larger showcase down the road.

Also highlighting XKO 28 was an exciting and closely fought women’s match with DFW native Alice Yauger pulling off the split decision victory over Oklahoma-based Kathina Catron. This was Alice’s second win in her last three bouts. She’s currently at 3-4 but certainly one of the most veteran WMMA fighters in Texas not currently on a UFC or Invicta roster.

Other big winners at XKO 29 included Joshua Mosquea and Jessie Vasquez who both remain undefeated at 2-0.
