September 28th Lonestar Beatdown – Quick Results

Houston - last night’s Lonestar Beatdown delivered two new champions in Gracie Barra’s Alex Morono at Welterweight and a new Lightweight champion in Michael Lytle of AXS. Both fighters fought gamely in hard fought decision wins over Pete Sprajc and Ola Siyanbola, respectively. Also, a champion going into the night’s action, John Malbrough of Kingwood MMA retained his Middleweight gold via rear-naked choke submission over Jon “Rudy” Thibeault of 4 Oz. MMA.

The rest of the night’s action on the undercard was highlighted by some promising young fighters, most notably Colin Wright, Joe Trevino, and Jose Martinez, who all took home impressive submission victories. Good job to all the amateur fighters who stepped into the cage last night.
